Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor systems for security anomalies, policy violations, and potential breaches.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and events; document findings in clear, detailed reports.

  • Lead the organization s vulnerability management program, coordinating with IT staff to guide patching and remediation efforts.

  • Test and validate security controls; generate structured reports based on assessment outcomes.

  • Administer and manage security tools including firewalls, vulnerability scanners, SIEM systems, asset discovery platforms, antivirus software, and email security solutions.

  • Ensure IT systems are aligned with organizational security policies and protocols.

  • Collaborate with auditors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to maintain compliance with security standards and regulations.

  • Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

  • Provide security input into the design of network and system architectures.

  • Participate in the security on-call rotation as required.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proven experience in the field of information security.

  • Strong knowledge of penetration testing, network security, and techniques used to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.

  • Broad understanding of security technologies such as firewalls, proxies, SIEM platforms, antivirus software, and Identity Providers (IdPs).

  • Experience with vulnerability management across both on-premises and remote networks, including the ability to prioritize and guide remediation efforts.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions that balance security with system availability.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact professionally with team members, stakeholders, and customers.

  • Valid driver s license required.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated history of reliability and performance.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.

  • Professional background in information security.

  • In-depth knowledge of penetration testing, network security practices, and vulnerability remediation techniques.
