JOB SUMMARY:
Gain hands-on experience from preliminary advance design concepts to production aircraft. This includes detail analysis of mass properties data, weighing the aircraft and other activity that involves the delivery process to the customer. The mass properties group interacts with many disciplines of other engineering groups throughout the development of the program which gives the opportunity to enhance the knowledge of aviation engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform duties in support of Aircraft Certification which include weighing the actual aircraft as well as completing weight and balance documentation per FAA regulations
- Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing groups to obtain Aircraft detail weight and balance data
- Analyze technical weight & inertia details using CATIA software
- Usage of Textron Aviation proprietary software to obtain weight and balance data for advance design concepts
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional and diplomatic demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic CATIA Knowledge preferred
- Capability to lift 30 lbs required for production support
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
