Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced JD Edwards World Finance Consultant to support and enhance our JDE World ERP system, specifically focusing on core finance modules. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with JDE World (not EnterpriseOne) and a solid understanding of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and enhancements for JD Edwards World Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve finance-related issues within JDE
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Create and modify financial reports using World Writer/Dream Writer
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to improve processes
  • Assist with upgrades, migrations, or system integrations as needed
Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards World (WorldSoftware)
  • In-depth knowledge of Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets
  • Familiarity with AS/400 (iSeries) environment
  • Experience with reporting tools: World Writer, Dream Writer, UBE
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of job costing, budgeting, or financial consolidations
  • Experience migrating from JDE World to EnterpriseOne
  • Basic understanding of RPG programming (for technical roles)
