DTS is looking for experienced Cyber Security Lead/Manager for our client project in Charlotte, NC.

The Principal Cyber Security Analyst reports directly to the Senior Director of Technology Data Security. This strategic and high-impact role ensures leadership initiatives are executed precisely, organizational processes run smoothly, and priorities across the cybersecurity program remain aligned. The individual will drive operational excellence, lead cross-functional coordination, and serve as the connective tissue between cybersecurity leadership and the broader enterprise.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership Enablement

  • Partner with the Senior Director to translate vision into action plans and operationalize strategic priorities.
  • Manage executive meeting preparation, including agendas, data briefings, and follow-up tracking.
  • Create leadership-facing reports and presentations that influence enterprise decisions.

Program Coordination and Oversight

  • Monitor progress of cybersecurity initiatives, remove roadblocks, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate project execution across data protection, insider threat, DLP, and encryption governance efforts.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental meetings and ensure decision points are acted upon and tracked.

Data-Driven Decision Support

  • Develop reporting dashboards to assess progress toward OKRs (objectives and key results).
  • Synthesize insights from cybersecurity metrics, risk indicators, and operational KPIs.
  • Surface risks and opportunities using structured analysis to support executive decision-making.

Operational Execution

  • Maintain leadership calendars, oversee scheduling logistics, and coordinate strategic events.
  • Manage content and documentation across internal systems like SharePoint and project trackers.
  • Draft and distribute internal communications that support cybersecurity awareness and transparency.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the liaison between cybersecurity leadership and other corporate functions (e.g., Legal, HR, Technology).
  • Build collaborative relationships across business lines and manage key touchpoints with external partners.
  • Ensure timely resolution of escalated issues through stakeholder coordination and documentation.

Marginal Responsibilities

Vendor and External Partner Collaboration

  • Support due diligence, coordination, and communications with third-party vendors or consultants.

Knowledge Management and Documentation

  • Maintain structured, version-controlled documentation for strategic initiatives and recurring processes.
  • Assist in updating SOPs and playbooks in line with evolving cybersecurity goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience supporting executives in strategic, project leadership, or cybersecurity operations.
  • Demonstrated success managing executive priorities, organizing cross-functional efforts, and reporting on complex initiatives.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or financial services.
  • Exposure to data protection programs such as DLP, insider threat, or encryption governance.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, Smartsheet, or other project management platforms.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt).
  • A master’s degree or an MBA is a plus.
