Job Summary: The Ivanti Administrator Developer is part of the IT Service Management team and is responsible for the development, maintenance, and administration of the Ivanti Service Manager platform in accordance with ITIL best practices.

Key Responsibilities of an Ivanti HEAT CMDB Administrator:
CMDB Maintenance:
Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the CMDB data.
Updating and maintaining CMDB data throughout the lifecycle of IT assets.
Identifying, adding, and updating configuration items (CIs) in the CMDB.
Defining and maintaining the structure and attributes of CIs.
Data Management:
Implementing and managing data collection processes, including automation.
Performing regular CMDB audits to identify and correct data discrepancies.
Process Improvement:
Identifying areas for improvement in CMDB processes and workflows.
Collaborating with other IT teams to align CMDB data with their needs.
Reporting and Analytics:
Developing and generating CMDB reports and dashboards to provide insights into the IT infrastructure.
Utilizing CMDB data for trend analysis and predictive modelling.
Configuration Management:
Managing the relationship between CIs and other IT assets, such as services and applications.
Supporting change management by ensuring that changes to CIs are reflected in the CMDB.
Assisting with incident management by providing accurate information about affected CIs.
Collaboration and Communication:
Working with other IT teams, such as helpdesk and network administrators, to ensure CMDB data accuracy.
Communicating CMDB data and insights to stakeholders, including management.
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Java and SQL for geospatial application development.
Experience with Cherwell and Ivanti for effective data management.
Solid understanding of Rest API for data integration and exchange.
Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex geospatial data.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
