Our Department of Defense contract requires ship and a favorably adjudicated DOD background investigation for this position.

Job Summary

Works on solutions of moderate to broad scope and complexity requiring analysis of data, combining of multiple data sources, and researching various system and provider data issues. Exercises independent judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Provides expertise on large projects and manages small projects.

Education & Experience

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience.

Five years of experience in healthcare analysis or data management.

Preferred:

Experience with SQL development and Reporting Services

Experience with Tableau

Experience with Crystal Report development
Experience with Provider Data Management System software application
Experience with provider data analysis

Key Responsibilities

o Provides analyses and interpretations of complex provider data issues, including recommendations related to a variety of healthcare management and process improvement initiatives.
o Queries and analyzes performance outcomes data to identify; measure and trend issues with network provider data to ensure the integrity of network provider data.
o Supports the development of provider data standards for the Provider Services department.
o Works with management to understand and interpret the impact of decisions made by retrieving, analyzing and identifying variations and trends in healthcare data, and communicating the information obtained from analysis through charts and graphs in PowerPoint presentations for management and various committees.
o Meets with requestors to get requirements and develop solutions to fulfill various requests (reports, trends, measures, forecasts).
o Maintains responsibility for assigned reports, such as quality reports, producing them accurately and in a timely manner.
o Responds to customer questions and requests in a timely manner.
o Provides analysis and interpretations of complex cost and performance issues.

o Maintains documentation and ensures all procedures support department and company policies and procedures.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
o Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of healthcare administration and provider network management; proficiency in the use of computer systems, database applications, Microsoft Office, and structured query language (SQL, Crystal Reports etc.); communication and presentation skills.

Working Conditions:
o Availability to work any shift
o Works within a standard office environment, with 5% travel
o Extensive computer work with prolonged sitting
