Job Details

Hybrid role on Long Island; must be onsite 3 days a week.

Our direct client needs an Imprivata Administrator to support Mobile Access Management (MAM).
The Administrator is responsible for the configuration, deployment, and daily management of the Imprivata MAM platform (formerly known as GroundControl).  This IT role supports a seamless and secure shared mobile device workflow for clinical and operational staff in a healthcare environment. The MAM Admin ensures optimal performance, security compliance, and end-user experience with shared devices, Smart Hubs (Launchpads), and integrated applications.
Daily Responsibilities 

  • System Configuration & Maintenance
    • Configure and manage Imprivata MAM workflows including check-in/check-out
    • Maintain and update Launchpad software and firmware across ~200 docking
    • Manage iOS/Android device provisioning and app deployment
  • User Workflow Optimization
    • Design and maintain clinician-focused check-out
    • Align device behavior with clinical needs
    • Support shared device personalization with SSO and identity systems
  • Mobile Device Management Integration
    • Integrate MAM with MDM/UEM platforms (Workspace ONE, Intune, Jamf).
    • Monitor device health and compliance
  • Security & Compliance
    • Enforce policies like auto-wipe, kiosk mode, and lost device
    • Ensure HIPAA compliance and hospital-specific standards

  • Monitoring, Support & Troubleshooting
    • Provide Tier 2/3 support for device and workflow issues
    • Monitor Admin Console for alerts and errors
    • Document workflows and configurations
  • Collaboration & Training
    • Work with Imprivata Support and internal teams
    • Train help desk staff on Imprivata MAM
    • Serve as SME for shared device workflows

Skills and Qualifications 

  • IT administration experience, preferably from a healthcare environment
  • Strong knowledge of mobile OS ecosystems (iOS primarily).
  • Experience with MDM/UEM platforms (Jamf, Intune, Workspace ONE).
  • Familiarity with SSO, LDAP/AD, and identity workflows
  • Basic understanding of networking (Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS).
  • Strong problem-solving and independent thinking 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with Imprivata products (MAM, OneSign, Confirm ID).
  • Knowledge of clinical mobile workflows and EHR tools (e.g., Epic Rover).
  • IT or healthcare IT certifications (e.g., CHIT, CompTIA).
