Position: Senior AWS Cloud Engineer - Cost Optimization Specialist
Location: Chicago or NJ(Hybrid) Or Remote

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Engineer with expertise in Turbonomic and ParkMyCloud to join our Cloud FinOps team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in utilizing these platforms to identify and achieve a cost savings goal of $4 million, employing advanced cost optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize Turbonomic and ParkMyCloud to perform comprehensive analysis of cloud resource usage and uncover cost-saving opportunities across AWS services.
Develop and fine-tune scripts and automation processes to maximize cloud resource efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Implement cost optimization strategies, including automated scheduling, rightsizing, and resource management, to enhance cloud financial efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering with a consistent track record of leading successful cost optimization initiatives.
Demonstrable expertise in using Turbonomic and ParkMyCloud to drive enterprise-level cloud cost efficiencies.
Extensive experience in scripting and automation for cloud resource management using Turbonomic and ParkMyCloud.
Advanced knowledge of AWS services, pricing structures, and financial governance, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical acumen with a track record of delivering substantial cost savings through innovative technical solutions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in hands-on technical environments influencing and collaborating at all levels of the organization.
