Responsibilities

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

Manage and lead engineering and IT related processes for planning, execution, and reporting to include: DevSecOps, Requirements management, Architecture, Integration, Verification and Validation, Transition, Configuration Management, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Technology Services, Multi-level Security Solutions, and Software Development Lifecyle.
Embrace and champion Agile development processes and adopt modern DevSecOps workflows and practices while proving technical guidance to team members and coworkers on best practices.
Write documentation for DevSecOps standards, processes, designs, and other required documentation.
Manage the interactions with technology vendors to discuss features, relevant architectural needs, etc. to meet software factory requirements.
Assist in the planning for DevSecOps team members.
Supervise, lead, mentor, and oversee training for DevSecOps team.
Help design and define system architecture for new / existing systems.
Support, and contribute to the implementation, expansion, configuration, compliance, security, operations, and maintenance of multiple technologies and tools to make up an entire software factory.
Supervise and manage site reliability of the software factory.
Supervise and manage CI/CD activities for the software factory infrastructure and tooling.
Ensure the security and other best practices are being used throughout all processes.
Oversee collaboration with Information Assurance and Cybersecurity teams to ensure security controls are implemented and requirements are met.
Provide collaboration with Cloud team to ensure software factory needs are tracked for execution by Cloud team.
Identify and mitigate technological or process related risks impacting development or progress.
Serve as DevSecOps Subject Matter Expert to help lower-level engineers during troubleshooting or other related activities that need skilled expertise to solve.
Ensure the DevSecOps team is meeting tasking deadlines, helping the team mitigate risks, and deliverables are complete and ready on time.

Qualifications

8+ years combined experience working as a Network, Cloud, Security, Software, DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
Develop high-level project/work plans.
Exprience with leading engineering teams.
Knowledge of developing design and standards documentation.
Understanding in Active Directory, domain controllers, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, remote access, VLANs, or other system administrative systems.
Educated in technologies including Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Istio, ArgoCD, GitLab, GitLab CI, Nexus, Grype, Syft, OpenSCAP, NeuVector, Grafana, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, TwistLock, Coder, Packer, Terraform, Ansible or equivalent/related technologies.
Knowledgeable with common modern programming languages (Python, Go, C++, Java, etc.).
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud services, including networking, storage, and compute.
Proficient with implementing and practicing GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps.
Skilled in maintaining lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters, infrastructure, and tools.
Ability to create enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows Operating Systems.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Clearance Requirements:

Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
