Job Description:
- The IT Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining essential IT operations including operating systems, applications, servers, email systems, and both software and hardware components.
- The role focuses on supporting business-critical IT functions, driving system improvements, and enabling smarter business processes.
- This position will serve as a subject-matter expert in Windows systems and commonly used applications like Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones.
- Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, and improve system efficiency and accuracy.
- Execute systems and network design, documentation, implementation, testing, and administration.
- Implement software upgrades and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Train employees on software and hardware use and provide technical support when required.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Knowledge of troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365, VPN, Adobe, McAfee, LogMeIn, encryption, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot computer peripherals including printers, scanners, monitors, keyboards, and mice.
- Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and Surface Pros.
- Background working in an Active Directory domain environment.
- Proficiency in software installation and troubleshooting.
- Basic networking knowledge and ability to troubleshoot network issues via command line.
