.NET Core Full Stack Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a .NET Core Full Stack Engineer. This hybrid role is responsible for building and enhancing public- and internal-facing applications. Responsibilities:
* Develop, test, and maintain features using modern .NET Core and C#
* Collaborate with product owners to deliver business requirements through production
* Implement APIs and backend services using microservices architecture
* Write unit tests and ensure acceptable code coverage (target ~70%)
* Support UI development with Angular (or React)
* Integrate with message bus technologies such as RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus
* Work cross-functionally within a 12-person engineering team and broader department of ~25 engineers

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (required)

5+ years of experience in backend development using:
* .NET Core (C#)
* Entity Framework
* SQL Server

* Experience with microservices architecture
* Familiarity with frontend development (preferably Angular; React also acceptable)
* Experience working in Agile environments and participating in the full software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with messaging technologies, specifically RabbitMQ and/or Azure Service Bus
* Exposure to enterprise-scale financial services applications
* Familiarity with brownfield development environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
