Position Overview:

The Desktop Support Technician will provide in-person technical support in an enterprise environment, focusing on Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and a variety of office hardware. This role involves imaging and deploying devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operations for end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver deskside support for Windows 10/11 systems, Microsoft 365 applications (including Teams and Outlook), and related enterprise tools.
  • Image and configure laptops and desktops using SCCM, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), Intune, or similar deployment technologies.
  • Perform hardware refresh and setup for new devices, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with peripheral equipment such as printers, mobile devices, and A/V systems commonly used in office environments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deployments, configurations, and support activities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and adherence to security policies.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience providing in-person desktop support in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 suite, and Teams.
  • Hands-on experience with imaging and deployment tools (SCCM, MEM, Intune).
  • Ability to troubleshoot a wide range of peripherals including printers, mobile devices, and A/V equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

This is a Contract position based out of Kenosha, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
