Job Title: Proposal Manager

Contract: 6 months

Location: Roseville, CA (hybrid)

Description:

HPE Aruba Networking is seeking a Proposal Manager to join our Request for Proposals (RFP) team. This role involves collaborating with account teams to complete customer RFPs/RFIs. You will work closely with Product Line Management, Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams to generate responses beyond our boilerplate content. As the primary point of contact for the sales organization, you will deliver initial draft responses promptly.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and organize proposal responses that highlight Aruba's differentiated solutions.
• Work with key contributors and subject matter experts, setting up meetings and assigning accountability.
• Use templates and follow proposal-writing standards to ensure readability, consistency, and tone.
• Evaluate and redesign processes, update boilerplate content with the latest solutions and responses.
• Participate in educational opportunities and product training.

Required Skills:

• Determine RFP scope, goals, and objectives, and clarify the proposed solution with the sales team.
• Establish priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact well with technical and non-technical resources.
• Deadline-oriented with excellent time management skills; ability to set priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in technical communication, journalism, communications, English, or a related field. A background in computer networking or IT is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proposal management experience. Experience in networking and wireless is preferred.
