We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Quality Engineer to join our team in the Dietary Supplements Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our dietary supplement products. They will have a strong background in quality assurance, process improvement, and regulatory compliance. This role will work closely with our manufacturing team to develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and processes that meet NSF, NSF/ANSI 455-2, and 21 CFR 111 standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and processes that comply with NSF, NSF/ANSI 455-2, and 21 CFR 111 standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with these standards.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to improve processes and product quality.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, including non-conformance, customer complaints, and production issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to the manufacturing team on quality systems and processes.
  • Evaluate and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Review and approve quality documentation, including SOPs, validation protocols, and quality reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering in the dietary supplements or related manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of NSF, NSF/ANSI 455-2, and 21 CFR 111 standards.
  • Experience with MasterControl eQMS
  • Proven experience in process improvement and quality system development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in the use of quality tools and software.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification is a plus.
