Associate IT Quality Assurance Engineer

Starting Salary Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience
The State Corporation Commission's (SCC) Information Technology Division (ITD) is seeking an Associate IT Quality Assurance Engineer interested in a rewarding public service career. This position will perform day to day operational testing, which will include web-based application testing, system and integration testing, ad-hoc testing, and exploratory testing.

Starting Salary Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience
The State Corporation Commission's (SCC) Information Technology Division (ITD) is seeking an Associate IT Quality Assurance Engineer interested in a rewarding public service career. This position will perform day to day operational testing, which will include web-based application testing, system and integration testing, ad-hoc testing, and exploratory testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for web-based applications and infrastructure.
- Analyze user requirements, design documents, and technical specifications to develop detailed test cases.
- Perform gap analysis between the requirements and the test cases and prepare the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
- Write code for automation scripts to execute tests for web-based and infrastructure applications.
- Assist with developing user acceptance tests representing the appropriate test scenarios and level of detail for business users.
- Assist with building the Test Automation Framework from scratch with C# and maintaining the automation test suites.
- Participate in functional testing, integration testing, and end to end testing.
- Identify and track bugs.
- Communicate results from testing to the IT development team and business area for replication.
- Schedule and facilitate user acceptance testing activities.
- Perform ad-hoc testing will be performed in accordance with industry standards and best practices in application design.
- Perform related work as required.
