We re hiring a CTH Senior / Lead IBM z/OS Systems Engineer / Programmer (Security-Focused)

Candidates must be able to convert to full time employee after 12 months, no sponsorship needed.

This role is ideal for a senior mainframe professional who thrives in security-heavy, cyber-sensitive environments and enjoys partnering with vendors and application teams not a traditional performance engineering role (though some performance review work is included).

You ll work closely with our managed services partner Ensono guiding priorities, reviewing work, and ensuring alignment with mission objectives, while supporting COBOL & Java development teams.

Core Focus Areas

IBM z/OS environment leadership

Hands-on support in CICS & DB2

RACF (near-mandatory) security guidance & governance

Troubleshooting & analytical problem-solving

Mainframe networking awareness

Vendor coordination & oversight

We re looking for someone who has

Strong RACF & security infrastructure experience

Senior-level z/OS engineering or systems programming background

Experience supporting application teams (COBOL / Java)

Ability to lead, advise, and collaborate across teams
