Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources
management or senior HR role, focusing on recruitment, employee
relations, and leadership development training.
Recruitment
Proven track record of developing and implementing data-driven
recruitment, including experience creating and analyzing hiring
metrics to inform decision making.
Experience with NeoGov or similar applicant tracking systems,
including creating and updating templates, automating recruitment
processes, developing and managing eligibility lists, and performing
various other system functionalities.
Employee Relations
Hands-on experience conducting investigations and preparing
executive-level investigation reports, including findings and
appropriate level disciplinary recommendations.
Expertise in guiding supervisors and managers on employee
discipline and performance management strategies.
Proficient in advising leadership on investigative processes,
recommending appropriate disciplinary actions, and reviewing
related documentation.
Leadership Training
Designing, developing, delivering, assessing, updating, and
facilitating formal training programs, including supervisory training,
harassment prevention, performance management, and employee
discipline.
Preferred Skills
Public sector HR experience is highly preferred.
Experience in oversight and management of a City-wide Human
Resources division, handling complex professional and technical
responsibilities
in
areas such as recruitment, selection,
compensation, benefits, performance evaluations, employee and
labor relations, classifications, Workers' Compensation, and training
and development.
Experience in developing, drafting, and monitoring complex policies,
contracts, and agreements to ensure alignment with organizational
goals and compliance with regulations.
Experience in overseeing and participating in classification studies
and compensation surveys, preparing detailed reports, and
conducting research to recommend and implement updates to job
classification and compensation plans.
