Role Overview
The Technology Finance team is seeking a Senior Associate Executive Presentation & Strategic Communications to support the Technology CFO in developing and delivering high-impact presentations for senior executive audiences. This role focuses on translating complex technology initiatives, financial metrics, and strategic insights into executive-friendly PowerPoint presentations for the CIO, their senior leadership team, and other C-suite stakeholders.
- Executive Presentation Development & Design
- Create and refine sophisticated PowerPoint presentations for the Technology CFO's engagements with the CIO, executive committee, and board of directors.
- Transform complex financial data, technology metrics, and strategic initiatives into visually compelling and easily digestible executive materials.
- Develop standardized presentation templates and maintain a library of reusable components to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Partner with design teams when needed to create custom graphics, infographics, and data visualizations that enhance message clarity.
Strategic Content Development
- Collaborate with Technology Finance, IT strategy, and business teams to gather and synthesize content for executive presentations.
- Conduct research and analysis to support key messages, talking points, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop executive summaries, briefing documents, and supporting materials for C-suite meetings.
- Ensure all presentations align with corporate messaging, branding guidelines, and strategic priorities.
Data Analysis & Storytelling
- Analyze technology investment portfolios, operational metrics, and financial performance to identify key insights and trends.
- Create data-driven narratives that connect technology initiatives to business outcomes and strategic objectives.
- Develop dashboards and scorecards that effectively communicate technology performance to executive audiences.
- Validate data accuracy and maintain version control for all executive reporting materials.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for presentation requests and manage the end-to-end development process.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to gather input, incorporate feedback, and meet aggressive timelines.
- Participate in dry runs and provide coaching on presentation delivery when appropriate.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive strategic and financial information.
Required Skills
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, communications, information systems, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in executive communications, management consulting, strategic planning, or business analysis roles.
- Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint, including advanced animation, design, and data visualization capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience creating presentations for C-suite or board-level audiences.
- Strong financial literacy and ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and financial modeling basics.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free deliverables.
- Professional presence and ability to interact effectively with senior executives.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a corporate finance or technology environment.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and technology concepts.
- Exposure to executive-level meetings or presentations.
- Familiarity with additional visualization or design tools beyond PowerPoint.
