Job Details
Job title: Project Coordinator
Location: Remote(but need locals to St Louis, MO)
Description:
Project coordinators work to assist IT project managers, financial analysts, and technical leads with the coordination of resources, software, meetings, and information in support of IT software development projects
Key Qualifications
Must have 1 to 3 years' experience working in project coordinator/project support role
Strong emotional intelligence skills
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have basic knowledge and experience with Excel and PowerPoint as well as Microsoft Project preferred
Must be in the Central time zone (St. Louis location preferred)
Degree preferred but not required
Key areas of responsibilities include:
Assist project managers in maintaining and monitoring project schedules, work estimates and actual work hours
Assist financial analysts in creating and managing detailed project budget. Research and resolve project budget variances that are identified.
Create project related purchase requisitions and purchase orders and reconcile and validate invoices related to purchases.
Draft and submit PCRs as requested
Update and manage project risk, issue, and decision logs
Assist with updating Project Status slides
Assist technical leads in navigating governance items related to project delivery
Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
Meeting administration scheduling, taking of meetings minutes, post meeting follow-ups, etc.
Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
