Certinia (formerly Financial Force) Consultant/Sr Consultant Job Description:
A Consultant bridges the gap between business ne and technical solutions within Certinia (formerly Financial Force), Salesforce native platform.
They gather and document requirements analyze business processes, and work closely with stakeholders t design scalable solutions.
Their role involves translating business goals into functional specifications and collaborating with develop to ensure successful system implementation.
They also test new features, provide training, and continuously optimize the platform to align with evolving business strategies.
Responsibilities:
Gathe and document business requirements through stakeholder meetings and workshops.
Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for platform improvements.
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.
Collaborate with admins developers, and architects to design scalable solutions.
Create, present, and maintain documentation; secure stakeholder feedback and formal sign-off.
Support system testing by preparing test cases and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
Deliver user training and develop materials to drive adoption.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure solution alignment.
Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement
Stay current on Certinia updates, features, and best practices to advise business strategies.
Key Role Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
10+ years of experience as a consultant, preferably within Salesforce/Certinia (formerly Financial Force) ecosystems.
Strong understanding of Certinia (formerly Financial Force) modules - Professional Services Automation & Financial Force Accounting.
Hands on experience implementing at least 3 Certinia (formerly Financial Force) implementations preferably the Professional Services Automation module
Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Experience creating process maps, user stories, functional specs, and system documentation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders and securing stakeholders' acceptance and approvals.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative project management methodologies.
Ability to support testing processes, including test case development and UAT coordination.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend best practices and scalable solutions.
Required Certifications:
Certinia (formerly Financial Force) Certifications.
Salesforce Certified Business Analyst.
Salesforce Administrator Certification.
