  • Must present portfolio of past work
  • Content Management Systems (CMS): Understanding CMS platforms and experience with structured content. Experience in designing information structures within systems.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: experience with creating interactive wireframes using tools such as Figma.
  • Information Visualization: experience with presenting complex information in a visually appealing and understandable manner.
  • UX/Ui designing
  • Taxonomy and Metadata Management: Knowledge of taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and metadata is vital for structuring and organizing information effectively.
  • SEO and Search Analytics: knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and search analytics. Experience with design information structures that are discoverable and user-friendly.
  • User Research Methods: experience in evaluating and testing information architectures for ensuring usability and findability.
  • Data Modelling and Database Design: solid understanding of data modelling and database design principles.
  • Accessibility Standards: knowledgeable about web accessibility standards to ensure that information structures are inclusive and usable for everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders, design teams, agencies, content managers to setup workshops to collect business requirements, KPI's and use cases.
  • Define, design and architect re-usable web components.
  • Coordinate and be the single point of contact for Design handoffs to Web Development team.
  • Translate requirement into protypes. Design and solution custom frontend web applications.
  • Design web applications that meet WCAG, SEO and Core Web Vitals.
  • Participate in UX/UI sessions, guide stakeholders on CMS best practices to develop re-usable component designs.
