Description
Overview
We are seeking a talented UX Designer. The ideal candidate will have an extensive experience in UX design and deep familiarity with financial services. This role requires exceptional proficiency in problem-solving, technical aptitude, and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and provide effective solutions to complex design-related challenges.
Create and manage user interfaces in Figma, leveraging a design system and advanced features such as auto layout.
Develop interactive prototypes for usability testing to inform strategic design decisions.
Drive the growth and maintenance of a domain-specific UI kit.
Collaborate with developers to uncover constraints, refine, and implement designs using Jira.
Facilitate meetings and document outcomes in Confluence to ensure alignment on design direction.
Review blueprints, storyboards, personas, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs to deeply understand the problem.
Mentor junior designers and manage time efficiently, communicate clearly with team members, and organize tasks effectively.
Skills and Competencies:
Wireframing and Prototyping - Creating mobile app wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts in Figma.
Information Architecture - Organizing and structuring content effectively. Creating sitemaps and navigation systems.
Design System - Proficient in utilizing an enterprise design system with Figma to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects. Engage the design system team as needed.
Usability Testing - Leading testing to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and iterate designs based on research reports.
Collaboration - Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Communicating design ideas and rationale effectively.
Problem-Solving - Identifying design-related problems and providing innovative solutions. Thinking critically and creatively to improve user experiences.
Technical Skills - Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how web applications work.
Time Management - Managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently. Meeting deadlines, communicating delays, and prioritizing work effectively.
Adaptability - Being open to feedback and willing to learn. Adapting to changing project requirements and conditions.
Requirements
6+ years of experience utilizing customer-centered methodologies.
3+ years in design and supporting the development of new products and services.
Extensive experience in product experience (PX), user experience (UX), experience design (XD), information architecture (IA), interaction design (IxD), or visual/user interface design (UI).

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
