Job Details

Title: Live Video Operations Supervisor

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

  • Supervise a small team of Tier 1 Live Operators responsible for flawless streaming of premium sports content.
  • Manage staff schedules and communication systems (Live Ops bridges) to ensure all live events are covered.
  • Oversee the encoding and delivery of live sports across 15+ apps, platforms, and sites to millions of users.
  • Serve as the team's subject matter expert, training operators on in-house tools and commercial ad load processes.
  • Own the critical process of triggering SCTE markers for Digital Ad Insertion (DAI), directly impacting revenue.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical problems for operators in real-time during live sporting events.
  • Provide guidance and comfortably manage remote team members, establishing reliable communication protocols.
  • Assist with monitoring, testing, signal acquisition, and post-event highlight clipping.
  • Collaborate with key partners, including Sports Production and System Developers, to ensure event success and report issues.
  • This is a revenue-critical role requiring strict attention to detail and a commitment to working weekends
