Description

We are in search of a meticulous Systems Analyst with a focus on procurement optimization within the banking industry. This role is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, and offers a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity. As a Systems Analyst, you will be expected to manage and enhance procurement systems and processes, analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary administrator for the procurement systems, ensuring data accuracy, system functionality, and user support.
Analyze procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Assist in vendor selection, negotiation, and management processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards to provide insights to stakeholders and support decision-making.
Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Provide training and support to users on procurement systems and processes to ensure adoption and proficiency.
Proactively identify areas for improvement within the procurement function and drive initiatives to enhance performance and effectiveness.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement processes, systems, and vendor relationships.
Utilize skills in Database, DB2 Database, EO/IR systems, IBM, Microsoft, AB Testing, Business Requirement Document, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Procurement, Ariba, and Data Analytics to perform tasks effectively.

Requirements

Minimum of two years of experience in a Systems Analyst role within the banking industry.
Proficiency in working with databases, including DB2 Database.
Familiarity with EO/IR systems.
Strong knowledge of IBM and Microsoft software and systems.
Experience with AB Testing methods and tools.
Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents.
Understanding of computer hardware and its configuration.
Experience in configuration management.
Proven track record in managing deployments.
Proficiency in procurement processes and tools, specifically Ariba.
Strong data analytics skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Ability to solve complex problems and think critically.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
