Infrastructure Architect
Job Details
Position: Infrastructure Architect
Location: Bellevue, WA
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture (AWS preferred).
- Proven experience designing and implementing AWS-based infrastructure solutions.
- Strong understanding of data center technologies including compute, storage, networking, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with container platforms (EKS, ECS, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
- Solid grasp of security, compliance, and governance in hybrid environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Architecture & Strategy: Define and maintain enterprise infrastructure architecture with a strong focus on AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.) while integrating with on-premises data center environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate.
- Experience with VMware, Nutanix, and hyper-converged infrastructure.
- Exposure to other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Experience with ITIL-based service delivery and infrastructure operations.
