Data Product Owner

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Product Owner with a strong background in data modeling and supply chain processes. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and external teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient data solutions. You will work closely with leadership, architects, and development teams to define requirements, evaluate systems, and deliver high-quality data products.

Key Responsibilities:
Understand the data needs and business processes related to Supply Chain.

Collaborate with leadership to define project scope, develop roadmaps, and prioritize initiatives.

Act as the primary liaison between EDM and external teams to gather requirements and align deliverables.

Identify, track, and help resolve project issues and technical impediments.

Translate business requirements into conceptual and logical data models.

Evaluate existing data systems and recommend improvements or redesigns.

Assist EDM Architects in designing and finalizing end-to-end data architecture solutions.

Work closely with the development team to ensure proper implementation of data models and architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Solid functional knowledge of Supply Chain processes and workflows.

Hands-on experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio.

Proficient in designing and creating OLAP and OLTP data models.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate complex business needs into technical data solutions.

Experience working in cross-functional teams in an Agile environment is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in enterprise data management or large-scale data transformation projects.

Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.

Exposure to cloud platforms and data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
