Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Senior Agile Software Engineer (Multiple openings) in Chicago, IL. The Senior Agile Software Engineer (multiple openings) is responsible for testing best in class software experiences but will also be involved in the analysis, design, development and maintenance of automation test suites for these applications. Specific duties include: (1) use keyword driven framework in Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to design automation scripts; (2) design scripts to cover End to End flows and ensure 100% coverage; (3) work with Scrum Teams (SM/PO/BA/Dev) to support Functional/Regression testing based on the technical analysis, complexity and reusability, and defining and Implementing Test processes across multiple projects; (4) develop test framework from scratch using TestNG and Selenium Webdriver, completing analysis of test requirement and automation feasibility, creating Automation Test Scripts, and complete execution of test scripts using TestNG; (5) create and maintain automated testing frameworks with Java programming language and leading the implementation of test strategy, test plans and test execution of the products; (6) create jobs(schedule/on-demand) and integrate with existing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins as well as evaluate, select, and formulate best usage of test automation tools and future alignment as per products and applications; and (7) create and maintain automated testing frameworks with Java programming language and using tools including Selenium WebDriver and UFT. This position utilizes the following tools and technologies: Java, SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Oracle, MySQL, DB2, ANT, Maven, and Jenkins.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Applied Computer Science, or Computer Science and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software development experience.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) using keyword driven framework in Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to design automation scripts, as well as designing scripts to cover End to End flows and ensuring 100% coverage; (2) working with Scrum Teams (SM/PO/BA/Dev) to support Functional/Regression testing based on the technical analysis, complexity and reusability, and defining and Implementing Test processes across multiple projects; (3) developing test framework from scratch using TestNG and Selenium Webdriver, completing analysis of test requirement and automation feasibility, creating Automation Test Scripts, and completing execution of test scripts using TestNG; (4) creating and maintaining automated testing frameworks with Java programming language and leading the implementation of test strategy, test plans and test execution of the products; (5) creating jobs(schedule/on-demand) and integrating with existing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins as well as evaluating, selecting, and formulating best usage of test automation tools and future alignment as per products and applications; and (6) utilizing the following tools and technologies: Java, SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Oracle, MySQL, DB2, ANT, Maven, and Jenkins.
