Contracts and Sourcing Manager

We are looking for a Contracts and Sourcing Manager open to a Contract-to-Hire opportunity. The position is hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)!

You will be responsible serving as the local Procurement Liaison supporting site procurement operations by providing contracting and sourcing support. As part of your specific responsibilities, in the following areas, you will:

• Contracting Leadership: Oversee the development, negotiation, and management of contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to optimize supplier selection, cost efficiency, and supply chain performance.
• Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, driving supplier performance and value.
• Risk Mitigation: Assess and mitigate procurement and contract-related risks, ensuring contractual compliance and risk management strategies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in procurement activities.
• Reporting: Provide senior management with regular reports on procurement performance, savings achieved, and supplier relationships.

The Requirements

To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. To be a good fit for the Contracts & Sourcing Manager opportunity, you will have:

• Bachelor s degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field
• 7 years Procurement, Supply Chain, or relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of sourcing, contracting, buying, materials/inventory management, and supply risk management
• Demonstrated experience delivering in a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and management
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Results oriented with a commitment to delivering value to the organization
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP/MRP systems, SAP and Ariba preferred
