Position Summary: IT Support/Helpdesk Specialist
Are you a high-energy, people-oriented problem solver who enjoys helping others and thrives in a dynamic team environment? We're looking for someone ambitious, polite, and positive to join a technical support team, providing direct assistance to internal employees across departments.
This is not your typical helpdesk role - you'll become part of a tight-knit, customer service-focused IT team that supports everything from software issues to hardware troubleshooting. The customer doesn't require a four-year degree - just a great attitude and a genuine desire to learn and grow. Microsfoft Windows/Product knowledge a plus but also not required.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide support to internal employees (not a remote role)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues such as network access, keyboards, software glitches, security and access issues
- Use various various tools to remote in, configure, and fix issues
- Collaborate via Microsoft Teams (video preferred) - not phone-based support
- Handle a wide range of technical tasks, from basic support to more complex diagnostic work
- Participate in a full-service IT environment - network, security, desktop, and beyond
- Work with a support team that values research, independence, and customer-first service

- Someone who smiles through their work and stays positive under pressure
- Comfortable with Microsoft Windows and typical IT tools (the customer will teach this and the rest)
- A person who enjoys learning new things and sees this as a stepping stone to more
- Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys working with people face-to-face
- Open to cross-training and exploring other roles in IT within the customer over time

- Team Size: You'll be joining a support desk of 7
- Schedule: Full-time; re-evaluated every 6 months based on budget and performance
