The Opportunity

Business Insight team provides data analytics and financial strategy management to ensure robustness in financial health for Samsung Ads. Operations Analyst will ensure that Samsung makes sound strategic decisions based on analysis and critical thinking, backed up by data. This position will work cross functionally and closely with sales management to track business metrics and develop financial processes for the Smart TV Ad business. He/she will work closely across Sales, Ad Operations, Headquarters, subsidiary Finance Teams, Engineering and Product to ensure a full end-to-end financial support on all aspects of the business. This position is located in NYC and requires occasional domestic travel if needed be.

We are looking for a confident individual with expertise in sales finance who understands the importance of delivering excellent process, rigor and assisting in the acceleration of our sales revenue. Responsibilities
  • Provide support in revenue forecasting and reporting processes for business. Ensure accuracy and predictability of results and key metrics
  • Analyze & review financial models in reviewing various RFPs with pricing scenarios and drive optimal business decision in deal pricing and terms & conditions.
  • Manage sales and KPI reporting to support the sales team
  • Provide meaningful insights and data analytic on performance and risk; business/market opportunities and prioritization recommendations to deliver to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with revenue management in driving performance, optimizing campaign margin and identifying additional monetization opportunity.
  • Assist in developing rate cards to advise on product offering, pricing, package etc.
  • Provide support in managing financial administrations to engage with 3rd party partners from vendor onboarding, contracts management, finance processing, approval process and others required.
  • Provide ad hoc support to Business insight team on various strategic initiatives and operational workflows to drive efficiency and productivity enhancement.


Qualification & Experience
  • 5+ years of business experience; some part of time in financial function in technology of digital media industry
  • Must be task driven & have the ability to produce and hit key deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising space, with knowledge of programmatic landscape, Connected TV & upcoming technologies, industry trends, and major players
  • Ability to manage and work effectively within cross-functional and matrix relationships
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree, in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Experience working in a like role or in a finance team
  • Experience working in media & technology company; preferably digital media business
  • Leadership presence: Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong organizational skills required


Skills and Qualifications

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $100,000 and $120,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
