Detailed Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Test Manager with strong experience in database migration projects, specifically Sybase to MSSQL, to support testing efforts across multiple phases of the program. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, business users, and technical teams to ensure thorough testing coverage, alignment with project objectives, and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to align testing objectives with overall program goals.
• Communicate effectively with end users and incorporate their testing feedback into plans.
• Work closely with tech teams to understand needs, assist in developing testing plans, scripts etc.
• Ensure that testing aligns with the project plan and promptly report any issues that arise.
• Monitor testing progress, ensuring alignment with program milestones and objectives.
• Ensure all testing documentation is consistent, clear and adhere to company standards.
• Report risk, issues, dependencies. Clear path/escalate to project manager accordingly
• Active participation in testing and thorough review of results with stakeholders.
• Assist project manager in the creation of testing reports for stakeholders.
• Seeking an experienced Test manager to coordinate migration of database from Sybase to MSSQL in alignment with project needs.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong planning and communication skills and a proven track record of collaborating with various technology and user teams.
• Must have experience with similar migrations, understanding the technical landscape is a huge plus. Ability to work with various user groups, understanding their needs and working with tech SME s to translate it into testing plans is a must.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organization and collaboration skills
• The candidate must be detail oriented and liaze with subject matter experts.
• Experience working with teams that are both on shore and off shore is a must.
• Ability to synthesize various points of view to comprehensive actionable goals is a plus.
• 5+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project and Visio required years
• Experience in Testing preferred.
• Familiarity with agile and banking industry is preferred.
