Job Details

A client of Innova Solutions is hiring for an IT Patching Administrator.

Position type: Full time - Contract

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: San Antonio, TX

As an IT Patching Administrator, you will:

  • Be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining software and programs for managing Information Technology assets.
  • Identify and manage processes for tracking, updating, quality assurance, and reporting from IT asset records and databases.
  • Be responsible for configuring and supporting Microsoft-based infrastructure, enterprise application installation, configuration, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Consult with support teams, help desks, customers, and other technical staff in the resolution of problems, coordinate and operate maintenance activities for workstations, identify recurring issues, and recommend steps to reduce the severity or frequency of problems.
  • Create plans for the transition of development and production environments to new technologies, utilizes system software to monitor the performance of system files, manages system data to maintain performance efficiencies, and studies system requirements to determine proper installation methods and procedures.
  • Provide data analysis and reporting on various processes, including update compliance, computer hardware, mobile hardware, software utilization, and other areas as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Familiarity with analyzing compliance reports to track patch status by device group, OS version and risk severity. Knowledge of pain points in the patch cycle and how to drive initiatives to reduce effort and accelerate time to compliance.
  • Manage end to end patching workflows using MECM/SCCM and Intune: patch synchronization, deployment rings and phased rollouts. Windows security patching experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $45 - $46 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
