Job Title Coupa Techno Functional Consultant

Location: Remote (in USA / Canada)
Duration: Long term

Job description:

The client has Coupa already implemented for North America, this project will focus on new implementations across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. As a result, they are specifically looking for a resource who:

  • Has Coupa implementation experience, not just steady-state support
  • Has worked on regional rollouts, including country-specific nuances
  • Has exposure to tax and invoicing integrations aligned to regional or regulatory requirements
  • Has experience with supplier onboarding through SIM and CRA

Must-have Experience (Critical):

  • Strong hands-on Coupa Core and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) experience (not just BA or requirement gathering).
  • Direct experience in Coupa configuration and solutioning, including:
    • Approval workflows
    • P2P process design (Req PO Invoice)
    • Functional configurations and enhancements
  • Proven involvement in process redesign and solution ownership, not only documentation or coordination.
  • Coupa implementation experience ----more than 1 implementation would be preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot Coupa issues, identify root cause, and propose functional solutions.
  • Experience working as a doer (System Admin / Functional Consultant / Core BSA), not only as a Product Owner or Program BA.

Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Coupa P2P, SIM, Core, and CRA modules, including Oracle ERP integrations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Strongly Preferred:

  • Exposure to Coupa SIM and/or Risk Assess (CRA).
  • Experience supporting Coupa upgrades, SIT/UAT, and release impact assessments.
  • Integration exposure with ERP systems (Oracle / SAP); ability to work with integration teams.
  • Global stakeholder engagement in a production environment.
