Responsibilities for the Testing Coordinator:
- Drive day to day E2E testing coordination across 40+ internal eBay engineering domain teams and external agency, to support key initiatives at eBay (in both internal staging and production smoke testing environments).
- Oversee and support writing of E2E test cases into TestRail (working closely with tiger team of engineering leads in key domains). Work with product and design to align and validate the test cases.
- Monitor slack channel, track open issues and ensure timely reporting into Jira bugs (according to priority and urgency). Ensure that teams are triaging with urgency. Proactively collaborate and connect across teams to unblock rollouts that would hinder E2E testing from progressing.
- Send daily update on open bugs, issues and blockers. Surface / Escalate any blockers or technical issues that will need discussions across multiple teams. Support PMO on overall project timeline status.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software design and development, with a solid foundation in computer science, including strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Knowledge of eBay domain / tech platforms.
- Understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and web services, including standards like REST/JSON.
- Agile development experience.
- Self-motivated and quick learner.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
