HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
Provides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
May serve as a team or task lead.
Provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BA/BS, Azure Administrator, Security Cert
Required Experience: 3+ years of related
Required Technical Skills: Lead level of experience in analyzing and troubleshooting military networks
Security Clearance Level: Secret
Required Skills and Abilities: May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies
Preferred Skills: Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software

System Administrator III (CLC 18)
CERTIFICATIONS:
Must meet the certification requirement of DoD 8570.01-M or otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order. The contractor is expected to have, but is not limited to, the following IT certificate:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) - Server or equivalent
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Lead level of experience in design, maintenance, and operation of small to medium networks. This experience must include administrating corporate or business' user accounts managing mail servers, printer servers, WWW servers, and/or firewalls. Must have experience in reviewing and recommending software applications as well as identifying hardware salient characteristics and any add on devices. Experience in systems management, monitoring and sustainment; hardware repair for servers, PCs, peripheral equipment; software installation, maintenance and sustainment.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have lead level of experience in analyzing and troubleshooting military networks to include:
Microsoft Enterprise Server 2008/2012 or later version
Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 (or later version) and other mail applications (local and remote)
Microsoft Active Directory 2008/2012 or later version
Network Server Backup
DHCP, DNS, WINS, and Domain Controllers
Site specific equipment listed in the task order
Certification:
IAT Level II;#MCSA Server 2012/2016, or MCSA SQL Server 2012/2014, or Microsoft 365: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate;#MCSE Core Infrastructure, or MCSE Data Management and Analytics
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $33.30 - $0.00. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
