Sharepoint Administrator

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sharepoint Administrator with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of our enterprise SharePoint environment
• Manage site collections, user permissions, workflows, and custom solutions, with a strong emphasis on security and compliance within the banking industry
• Manage and maintain the client's SharePoint environment, including site collections, sites, lists, libraries, and user permissions
• Ensure the security and integrity of SharePoint data, adhering to the client's security policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDIC, FFIEC)
• Implement and manage SharePoint workflows to automate business processes and improve efficiency
• Develop and maintain custom SharePoint solutions, including web parts, forms, and applications, using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, or other appropriate technologies
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issues, escalating to Microsoft support as needed
• Monitor SharePoint performance and optimize system resources to ensure optimal performance and uptime
• Plan and execute SharePoint upgrades, migrations, and patching, minimizing disruption to business operations
• Develop and maintain SharePoint documentation, including system configurations, policies, and procedures
• Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint functionality and best practices
• Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement SharePoint solutions that meet business needs
• Ensure compliance with the client's records management policies and procedures within the SharePoint environment
• Manage and administer SharePoint Online and integrate with on-premises SharePoint as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint technologies and best practices, and recommend new solutions to improve the client's collaboration and information management capabilities

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, best practices, and a proven track record of supporting SharePoint in a large organization, preferably within the financial services sector
