Work Location: Austin Oak Hill - fully onsite role

Job Description: Position Title: Engineering Technician - I

Working Hours (including time zone): 10pm-6:30am

Days of the Week (hrs per week): Sunday (10p)-Friday (6:30a) - 40 hrs.

Target Start Date: 12 May 2025

Duration of Assignment: 30 days

Possibility of Extension/Contract to Hire: small possibility of extension

Job Description: This position will be responsible for maintaining and applying software patches and changing hardware settings under direction from field applications and development engineers in other regions.

Day to Day Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain hardware, communicate overnight changes and requests

Required Technical Skills:

1. 1-2 years experience with Microsoft Windows products (OS and Office)

2. 1-2 years of networking configuration (network switches and routers)

3. Linux OS (Ubuntu, Solaris, Linux Mint, Redhat) knowledge-preferred

4. Has several skills: self-motivation, initiative, resourcefulness, confidence and dependability.

5. Good organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
