Hybrid role - 4 days Onsite and 1 day Remote

Job Description:

  • This position must sit onsite in our Downtown St. Louis Client offices Monday-Thursday, WFH Friday.

SR ART DIRECTOR, PACKAGING

As a Sr. Art director, you are a multi-talented creative and strategic thinker who concepts, creates and produces high-quality work that is relevant to the brand and compelling to the target audience. You have solid design skills and are able to work successfully with a creative and account service team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute traditional and digital communications in relation to package design efforts
  • Exercise quality control of design recommendations and executions.
  • Operate with a degree of autonomy by receiving project assignments, completing on time, understanding direction and applying feedback.
  • Credibly represent and present your own work.
  • Collaborate effectively with Account Managers and Strategy team partners, fellow creatives, internal and external teams, clients and vendor partners.
  • Positively influence decisions for the benefit of the creative work and the brands.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree with a design emphasis preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience working as an Art Director or similar creative role at an advertising or in-hour agency or similar
  • Strong Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills for both digital and print design
  • Strong understanding of designing for traditional channels and digital channels, including: social, ecommerce, digital display advertising and retailer digital advertising
  • Strong typography skills

  • Strong conceptual thinker. Detail oriented.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Self-starter; can juggle multiple projects successfullyy
