Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
We are seeking a qualified individual to take on the role of Geotechnical Project Manager, focusing on projects related to solar energy development. As the key player in managing moderate to complex geotechnical endeavors, you will leverage your technical expertise to not only meet but exceed client expectations. This is a hybrid role that offers great flexibility in work life balance!

Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive scopes of work and craft proposals for geotechnical engineering projects, with a primary emphasis on the solar energy sector.
  • Produce geotechnical engineering reports, offering professional insights, practical solutions, and other necessary documentation.
  • Conduct engineering analyses using both company and industry standards and methodologies.
  • Oversee routine to complex geotechnical engineering projects, managing aspects such as project scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
  • Work independently on assignments of limited scope, subject to Senior review.
  • Perform quality reviews of work completed by assigned staff, addressing and resolving internal and external quality issues.
  • Collaborate with Account Leader and regional operations to coordinate field staff, share resources, and manage workloads effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications by working closely with Account Leader, other engineers, project managers, and field staff.
  • Collaborate with Account Leader and Senior Engineers to consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Assist in developing business goals and objectives in conjunction with the Account Leader.
  • Support client relationships to achieve wind market sector goals and strategies.
  • Conduct various field testing and observations as needed.
  • Assist field operations with technician training and review on an as-needed basis.

  • Ability to create, maintain, and communicate project budgets.

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or a related engineering field.
  • Professional Engineer registration/licensure or the ability to obtain within two years.
  • Five or more years of preferred, but not required, experience in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering.
  • Previous experience with large-scale construction projects is desirable.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
