Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Workday implementation program, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business teams, implementation partners, and internal technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to assess, redesign, and optimize HR business processes aligned to Workday capabilities.
- Own requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, test planning, change management, and deployment activities.
- Manage program governance, including steering committee updates, RAID logs, and comprehensive project plans.
- Oversee data migration strategy, integration design, and security configurations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Lead change management and communication planning to support user adoption and minimize business disruption.
- Monitor project health, provide timely status reporting, and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure smooth transition into post go-live support: stabilization, hypercare, and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- 5 10+ years of program or project management experience in enterprise technology deployments.
- Proven experience leading at least one full lifecycle Workday implementation.
- Strong HR domain expertise across HCM, Compensation, Talent, Benefits, Recruiting, and Onboarding.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with HR stakeholders to drive process transformation.
- Familiarity with Workday modules, configuration, integrations, and deployment approaches.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience managing vendors and third-party implementation partners.
- PMP, Workday certifications, or Agile certifications are a plus.
- Hands-on HRIS or Workday configuration experience.
- Ability to lead workshops and working sessions across HR and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
