- Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Network Engineer II to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with the following is required:
- Cisco - Routing/Switching, Data Center Networking
- Palo Alto - Firewalls, Remote Access
- Experience with the following is a plus:
- Aruba - Wireless, Authentication Services
- Infoblox - DNS, DHCP, IPAM
- F5 - Traffic Management, Web Application Firewall
- SolarWinds - Monitoring
- Azure - Cloud Networking
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an enterprise environment with proven expertise.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting and troubleshooting telecommunications applications and other support applications in a customer service-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Capable of communicating effectively with stakeholders, team members, and leadership in both written and verbal formats.
- Must be available for on-call work as needed.
- Experience offering leadership in a team-oriented, collaborative setting.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods.
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers, devices, and peripherals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting company-wide culture and customer service standards at all times.
- Deploy, configure, manage, and optimize data and voice networking infrastructure to support business services and applications.
- Consult with other engineers to identify current operating procedures and clarify design and implementation objectives.
- Formulate plans using industry standard techniques to outline tasks required to deliver committed user stories.
- Address and resolve network performance and availability issues in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
- Participate with other members of a product team to operate, optimize, and support networks in a production environment.
