Seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Support Engineer responsible for supporting and maintaining line-of-business applications, Citrix, SQL, SCCM, and other enterprise systems. Will play a key part in ensuring system performance, security, and availability while delivering high-quality support and solutions.

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 5+ years of experience in application support or a similar technical role.
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for OS deployment, application distribution, and patching.
  • Experience administering Citrix, Azure, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Familiarity with scripting using PowerShell or similar tools for automation.
  • Experience with SQL Server (query writing, basic database management).
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for enterprise applications and platforms including Citrix, SQL, and SCCM.
  • Collaborate with team members and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Manage the application lifecycle, from packaging and deployment to updates and retirement, aligned with industry best practices.
  • Maintain and optimize workstation and server images to meet organizational standards.
  • Participate in and manage monthly patch cycles, ensuring security compliance across all endpoints.
  • Address emergency vulnerabilities and perform out-of-band updates as needed.
  • Monitor systems and applications proactively to detect and resolve potential issues before user impact.
  • Serve as an escalation point for application and helpdesk support issues, offering detailed root cause analysis and solution documentation.
  • Create and update technical documentation in accordance with department protocols and change management procedures.
