Cell Culture Sr. Technician

Location: Northeastern United States (Onsite)

Pay Range:$37.73-$53.90/Hrs

Description
* Enable the start-up phase of a manufacturing facility.
* Focus on hands-on execution and support of manufacturing operations.
* Perform manufacturing activities to deliver production plans reliably.
* Follow procedures to support manufacturing execution.
* Conduct equipment and process troubleshooting.
* Identify, report, and close deviations.
* Develop and optimize manufacturing procedures.

Key Responsibilities
* Execute Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Steam-In-Place (SIP) operations.
* Prepare media and perform transfers and filtration.
* Sample, monitor, and transfer cell cultures.
* Conduct harvest operations.
* Validate equipment, including bioreactors.
* Maintain cleanliness and manage waste discharge.
* Identify and troubleshoot equipment and process issues.

Qualifications
* 3-5 years of experience in cell culture within the biopharmaceutical industry.
* Familiarity with single-use bioreactors and stainless steel vessel operations.
* Experience with aseptic inoculation techniques.
* Knowledge of part washer or autoclave operations.
* High school education or GED required; AS/BS/BA in a science-related field preferred.
