Job Summary

JETCOOL Technologies is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to lead the design, development and deployment of functional test solutions for all Jetcool products. Strong preference will be given to those with a proven track record of designing global solutions that are managed locally.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Working in collaboration with Design Engineering and Process Engineering, convert product performance criteria into functional test plans for use across in-house manufacturing and Jetcool's global supply chain
  • Design, build, and deploy automated test equipment (ATE) internally, domestically and at global suppliers providing real-time insights into product test throughput, yields, failures, and trends
  • Provide ATE operator training and collateral upon initial deployment and establish on-going training as enhancements are rolled-out
  • Participate in, and work with Design Engineering and Operation resources during NPI development programs ensuring design for test (DFT) considerations are embedded in released products
  • Collaborates with Jetcool Quality Engineering during the discovery of field return quality issues, assesses and corrects functional test process escapes. Ensures deployed ATE solutions are updated, operators trained, and data collection methods reflect new test criteria and measurements.
  • Perform regularly scheduled on-site audits at key suppliers, assuring compliance with Jetcool testing standards

The experience we are looking to add to our team:
  • Demonstrated ability to provide parametric test development leadership and guidance when transitioning new product designs from Design Engineering into deployable ATE solutions.
  • Experience leading the design and construction of ATE solutions compliant with Industry 4.0 principles.
  • Experience working with internal manufacturing teams, value-add, and contract manufacturing partners.
  • Has experience designing ATE solutions supporting high volume production environments for complex electro-mechanical, fluid-based products and assemblies.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Design Engineering, Manufacturing and External Partners during aggressive time to market NPI programs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering on commitments.

Education and Experience:
  • 4-year college degree, masters preferred
  • Minimum of 6-8 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical systems consisting of fluids and pumps.
  • Demonstrated experience building automated, semi-automated ATE test and management systems in partnership with global suppliers.
  • Experience working with PLM and ERP systems.
  • Experience working with external Contract Manufacturing partners as the prime point of contact for all product testing requirements, issue resolution and enhancements.
  • Experience working with and integrating product and process parametric test results into corporate quality management solutions.

Pay Range (Applicable to Massachusetts)
