Description
As a Mainframe Engineer you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our mainframe systems, ensuring their optimal performance and security. You will leverage your expertise in ACF2 and RACF to implement and manage access controls, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain mainframe security solutions using ACF2 and RACF.
Monitor and optimize mainframe system performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mainframe systems with other IT infrastructure.
Develop and maintain documentation for mainframe configurations, processes, and procedures.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Mainframe Engineer or similar role.
Expertise in ACF2 and RACF security systems.
Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and operations.
Proficiency in mainframe programming languages (e.g., COBOL, Assembler).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with mainframe performance monitoring and tuning tools.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
