Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in data center infrastructure design, implementation, and operations. The ideal candidate will lead and support mission-critical data center environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability across compute, storage, network, and facilities coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and support of data center infrastructure (compute, storage, network, virtualization)
• Provide L3/L4 support for complex infrastructure incidents and root cause analysis
• Manage server, storage, and virtualization platforms in enterprise environments
• Coordinate with network, security, facilities, and cloud teams
• Drive data center migrations, expansions, refreshes, and upgrades
• Implement and enforce HA, DR, backup, and capacity planning
• Ensure compliance with security, operational, and change management standards
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and runbooks

Mandatory Skills:

• 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure / Data Center Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with servers (Dell / HPE / Lenovo)
• Expertise in virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere / Hyper-V)
• Solid knowledge of storage systems (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, FC)
• Strong understanding of data center networking concepts (LAN/WAN basics, VLANs)
• Experience with backup, DR, and monitoring tools
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills

Preferred Skills:

• VMware (VCP), Microsoft, or equivalent certifications
• Experience with cloud integration or hybrid infrastructure
• Exposure to automation and scripting (PowerShell / Python)
• Knowledge of ITIL / change and incident management
• Experience supporting 24x7 enterprise data centers
