Description: We're hiring a sharp, battle-tested IT Project Manager to join a high-growth digital team in downtown Chicago. This is a full-time, permanent role with a hybrid setup - just two days a week onsite. What You'll OwnYou'll be the engine behind the delivery of web and digital products that fuel major marketing and operational initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, you'll partner with Product Owners, BAs, developers, and business stakeholders to plan, execute, and ship high-impact solutions - all within a modern Agile Scrum framework.
This isn't just a box-checking PM gig. You'll be the glue between tech and business, translating vision into velocity. You'll help evolve Agile practices, manage blended Agile/Waterfall environments, and keep everyone aligned on priorities, progress, and deliverables. You'll also interface with external vendors and agencies when needed - so stakeholder finesse is key.
What You'll Be Doing- Leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retros, and reviews like a boss
- Driving backlog grooming, release planning, and cross-team coordination
- Partnering with Product Owners to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize work
- Tracking velocity, managing risk, and escalating smartly when needed
- Navigating hybrid delivery models (Agile + Waterfall) across different business units
- Championing Agile best practices and helping teams level up their delivery game
What You Bring to the Table- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on PM experience in Agile Scrum environments
- 3+ years managing projects in blended Agile/Waterfall setups
- Proven track record implementing Agile/Scrum practices and driving adoption
- Solid experience delivering web/digital/data/software engineering projects end-to-end
- Deep understanding of Agile principles, Scrum roles, ceremonies, and artifacts
- Killer communication skills - you know how to speak dev, business, and exec
- Ability to juggle multiple projects in a high-velocity environment
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, or similar PM tools
- Bonus points for Agile certs (CSM, PMI-ACP, PMP, SAFe)
