Description
SAIC is seeking a Chief Enterprise Architect to support multiple programs and portfolios, within the Navy C5ISR and Training Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic communications, infrastructure services, engineering, communications, or similar technical areas supporting DoD programs such as PEO Digital, C4I and other Navy related programs. This role involves managing program activities to ensure compliance with technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance requirements, while also focusing on growth and support of key Navy Enterprise initiatives directly reporting to Navy Flag-Level and government SES-level stakeholders.
This is a HYBRID/REMOTE role and must be a local in the Washington D.C. area (e.g., Reston, Crystal City, Georgetown), as the ideal candidate will be expected to be in office throughout the week. This position requires local residency and may involve travel.

JOB DUTIES:
- Responsibilities include direct customer support, strategic planning, and integration of program activities, with an initial 80/20 split between customer support and strategic growth activities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive program and portfolio plan, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources for multiple Strategic Communication efforts.
- Manage program budgets and ensure adherence to the fixed and cost-plus price contract.
- Monitor program progress against the plan, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple programs and projects (customers) concurrently.
- Provide leadership and direction to the program team.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage staff effectively, ensuring that the staff have the necessary skills and tools to complete their tasks.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to provide updates on project progress.
- Monitor project performance and adjust as necessary to improve quality.
- Prepare and lead program review meetings and deliver presentations to upper management.
- Ensure that the program meets all technical requirements and specifications.
- Lead proposal preparation and business development efforts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience.
- Minimum of 10 years Navy Product development and oversight experience
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or equivalent with government experience.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and products simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools such as an Agile organization.
- Knowledge of the communications environment.

- Experience in working with multiple customers, stakeholders, and business development.
