.NET UI Developer – Level III

Location: Albany, NY (Onsite – Local candidates only)
Duration: Long-term Contract

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced .NET UI Developer (Level III) to support a New York State government project. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of overall experience, extensive UI development expertise, and prior state/federal client experience. This role involves designing and implementing complex, scalable, and intuitive user interfaces for enterprise applications.


Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 7+ years on complex projects, with 2+ years in a leadership Developer role

  • 7+ years in UI development & design patterns (MVC), building complex/scalable applications

  • 7+ years developing web applications using:

    • HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX

    • JavaScript/TypeScript

    • Angular (3–4 years minimum)

    • jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS


Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related technical field

  • 7+ years in .NET/C# (or Java/Spring Boot) for n-tier web/cloud applications

  • 7+ years with SOA, secure web services, SOAP/REST APIs

  • 7+ years with Entity Framework

  • 7+ years using unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit preferred)

  • 5+ years with Git or other distributed version control systems

  • 2+ years designing/implementing CI/CD workflows

  • 2+ years with Agile/Scrum

  • 2+ years in federal/state government settings (HHS or Integrated Eligibility Systems preferred)


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality, reusable, and performant UI components

  • Translate requirements into intuitive UI designs

  • Collaborate with UX, BA, QA, architects, and product teams

  • Ensure responsive design, accessibility (508/WCAG), and UI/UX best practices

  • Optimize UI for performance and scalability

  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards

  • Mentor junior developers

  • Stay current with emerging UI technologies

  • Participate in full SDLC phases: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, support
