Contract: 12+ Months
Location: City of Phoenix 200 W. Washington St. Phoenix, AZ, 85003

IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Recent large-scale Information Systems experience with upgrades or conversions.- review if highly experienced (7+ years as lead PM in large-scale I
- Ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflict
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master s degree in business/public administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience in IT program or project management.
- Experience leading IT project management teams.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Seven (7) years as project lead with responsible experience in IT infrastructure projects, implementations, interface redesign, testing, and change management across multiple software subsystems.
- Recent large-scale IT/infrastructure systems experience with upgrades, conversion or software experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
- All position finalists are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
- Ability to be on-site as required by the project needs and project team activities
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications
- Experience with vendor management
- Experience with software implementation/upgrade
- Experience working with or for public sector organizations
- Experience with project and portfolio management tools
- Excellent customer service and business relationship communication skills
